Section 3 – THE BUSINESS CASE FOR SUSTAINABLE BUILDINGS IN GREECE

Nikiforos Kekridis

Mr. Kekridis is Sustainability Coordinator at Bluehouse Capital. He joined Bluehouse in 2005 and has worked as a project manager in a number of development projects as well as income producing assets. He is currently coordinating all Sustainability initiatives of the Group such as the Green Building Certification of portfolio assets and the Group Sustainability Reporting.

Prior to Bluehouse Mr. Kekridis worked as a project manager for the Asian Games Organizing Committee in Doha, Qatar and the Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games ATHENS 2004. He has also worked for Lamda Infrastructure Finance as a technical consultant and for Technical Olympic S.A. as a quality assurance manager. Before that he worked in the UK for L. G. Mouchel & Partners Ltd, a leading engineering consultancy, as a design engineer.

Mr. Kekridis holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece and an MBA from Cranfield University, UK. He is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner by CSE and also Certified by GRI for Sustainability Reporting.

 

Bluehouse Capital

Founded in 2004, Bluehouse Capital (“Bluehouse”) is a private equity real estate investment management firm, active in the property markets of Central and South East Europe.
It manages three funds, having established a high-quality institutional investor base, comprised of a number of financial institutions including the EBRD, US foundations and endowments, pension funds, multimanager funds and family offices.
The firm mainly focuses in office and retail sector investments and currently operates in Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Greece.
